Dr. Cardenas has been practicing orthodontics for more than 20 years and has passed the written examination of the American Board of Orthodontics — the only specialty board recognized by the American Dental Association. In addition to private practice, she has served as an Associate Professor in the Postgraduate Department of Orthodontics at Nova Southeastern University's College of Dental Medicine.
